It is a requirement of most professional therapy associations, including those that accredit our course, that therapists undertake supervision.
Good hypnotherapy supervision isn’t just about solving problems. It’s about helping you grow as a therapist, build confidence in your work, and take care of your own wellbeing, and it should support you no matter how experienced you are.
I offer flexible supervision, as one-to-one or group sessions, online or face-to-face, if you’re close enough to my office in Castleford to pop in. My supervision is always a supportive, non-judgemental space.
Who Needs Hypnotherapy Supervision?
Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, regular hypnotherapy supervision provides:

Our tutor Debbie Waller is an Advanced Practitioner with the G.H.R. and also an accredited supervisor. She holds a Certificate in Clinical Supervision approved by the British Psychological Society, the only UK psychology/psychotherapy body established by Royal Charter. It is one of the primary national leads in determining national recommendations on clinical supervision, and operates across a range of groups and helping professions.
Debbie also trains supervisors and welcomes enquiries about the courses.
The GHR, the ACCPH and the APHP list Debbie as a hypnotherapy supervisor. She can accept supervisees from other professional bodies as well, depending on their rules about supervision.
Supervision and Post-Qualification Support for Students of Yorkshire Hypnotherapy Training
During your training, Debbie will provide whatever supervision you need inside or outside of classes. She is contactable at all times (though preferably not in the middle of the night!) via email or phone. After you have completed your training, you can continue to contact her for advice and support throughout your career.
