hypnotherapy training dates and venues

Our hypnotherapy courses give you a choice of training during school hours, or at weekends. We also offer a choice of weekend venues - currently Wakefield and York.

Both cities are easily accessible from a wide area by road, and there are good rail and bus networks for those travelling on public transport.

Dates

Our course start dates have been delayed by the COVD-19 lockdown but we can now confirm the following.

We already have midweek (Thursday morning) and Wakefield weekends groups waiting to start training whose courses have been delayed. These will start in July or September 2020, depending on the government advice in place at that time, and on the re-opening of our venues. If they cannot begin earlier, the courses will start in September online and transfer to face-to-face training as soon as is practicable.

There is an opportunity for a small number of people to join these classes, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information or if you have questions.

The weekend class in York will start in January 2021 and end in November. Again, this course will start online if face-to-face training is still a problem at that time. The early bird discount ends on 29th November.

Please note: to qualify for the early bird discount you must apply, be offered a place, and return your deposit and learning contract before the cut-off dates.

Venues

All our venues have B&B nearby for anyone wishing to stay overnight. Parking prices listed were checked Feb. 2019.

York - We will be at the Priory Street Centre, five minutes walk from the train station and park-and-ride stops. Pay and Display parking is available at the Centre for £7 per day, cheaper parking can often be found nearby by pre-booking via JustPark, or you can use the park and ride for £3.10. Smartcards or bulk buying tickets should enable you to pay less. Knavesmire Road offers free parking and is about twenty minutes' walk away if you fancy the exercise!
York is well placed for those living in the North Yorkshire area and further afield; Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby and the East Coast etc. It's also easily accessible via the A1M from the North East of England; Newcastle, Durham, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, and Darlington.

Mid-Week training - the venue varies depending on which day of the week we decide to meet. Please ask for more information if this is important to you.

Wakefield - Weekends: for larger groups (over 4) we generally use the Training Suite at Trinity Business Park, Wakefield. This is on Denby Dale Rd, close to the City Centre, both Wakefield train stations and the free city bus route. Free parking is available for those travelling by car.
For smaller groups, we use The Loft in Normanton on the outskirts of Wakefield, on J31 of the M62. The venue is close to both train and bus routes, parking is Pay and Display but reasonable (£2.90 all day on Saturdays, free on Sundays).
Wakefield itself is conveniently sited close to the M62, M1 and A1 which makes it accessible from almost any area of Northern England or the Midlands. Most of our students travel from Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Manchester, Pontefract, Castleford, Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Lincoln, although some come from further afield including Scotland and Staffordshire.
