Hypnotherapy training dates and venues
Our hypnotherapy courses give you a choice of training during school hours, or at weekends. We also offer a choice of weekend venues - currently Wakefield and York - to make training as convenient for you as possible. Both cities are easily accessible from a wide area by road, and there are good rail and bus networks for those travelling on public transport.
The next courses will begin as follows:
York - weekends - Autumn 2019 - this class is now full.
Wakefield - weekends - next course starts on 25th and 26th April 2020, and the early bird discount is available until 20th March 2020. This class meets the fourth weekend of each month and will end in March 2021. It will run from 9.30 am to 5 pm on both days and there are no classes in August or December.
Midweek training - one full day followed by half a day per week in term time only - our next course begins in March 2020 and the early bird discount is available until 8th February 2020. You will qualify in March 2021.
We can't yet confirm when this class will meet, as we adapt to the needs and location of those who want to attend. Please indicate on the enrolment form which days you are available so we can take your preferences into account. Once we have a viable class, we will choose a weekday to suit as many as possible. If you have any concerns about this, please contact us.
(We only have one midweek class per year.)
Please note: to qualify for the early bird discount you must apply, be offered a place, and return your deposit and learning contract before the cut-off dates.
All our venues have B&B nearby for anyone wishing to stay overnight. Parking prices listed were checked Feb. 2018.
York - We will be at the Priory Street Centre, five minutes walk from the train station and park-and-ride stops. Pay and Display parking is available at the Centre for £7 per day, cheaper parking can often be found nearby by pre-booking via JustPark, or you can use the park and ride for £3.10. Smartcards or bulk buying tickets should enable you to pay less. Knavesmire Road offers free parking and is about twenty minutes' walk away.
York is well placed for those living in the North Yorkshire area and further afield; Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby and the East Coast etc. It's also easily accessible via the A1M from the North East of England; Newcastle, Durham, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, and Darlington.
Mid-Week training - the venue varies depending on which day of the week we decide to meet. Please ask for more information if this is important to you.
Wakefield - Weekends: for larger groups (over 4) we generally use the Training Suite at Trinity Business Park, Wakefield. This is on Denby Dale Rd, close to the City Centre, both Wakefield train stations and the free city bus route. Free parking is available for those travelling by car.
For smaller groups, we use The Loft in Normanton on the outskirts of Wakefield, on J31 of the M62. The venue is close to both train and bus routes, parking is Pay and Display but reasonable (£2.90 all day on Saturdays, free on Sundays).
Wakefield itself is conveniently sited close to the M62, M1 and A1 which makes it accessible from almost any area of Northern England or the Midlands. Most of our students travel from Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Manchester, Pontefract, Castleford, Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Lincoln, although some come from further afield including Scotland and Staffordshire.
