hypnotherapy training dates and venues

Our hypnotherapy courses give you a choice of training during school hours, or at weekends. We also offer a choice of weekend venues - Wakefield and York.

Both cities are easily accessible from a wide area by road, and there are good rail and bus networks for those travelling on public transport.

However, if you are unable to get to our venues, you can train with us online. Please see THIS PAGE or CONTACT US for more information.

The weekend class in York will run the fourth weekend of each month, it will begin on the 24th and 25th of September 2022 and continue each month (except December) until July 2023. The early bird discount is available to those who are fully enrolled by 13th August 2022.

Midweek training will start in September 2022 and will run for a full day on alternate term-time Mondays, finishing in July 2023. We will meet in Normanton, between Wakefield and Castleford. The early bird discount is available to those who are fully enrolled by 13th August 2022. There is only one midweek class per year.

The weekend class in Wakefield will run the second weekend of each month (except August), it will start on the 11th and 12th of February 2023 and end in December 2023. The early bird discount is available to those who are fully enrolled by 16th December 2022.

Please note: to qualify for the early bird discount you must apply, be offered a place, and return your deposit and learning contract before the cut-off dates.

If any further lockdowns occur, training will continue on the planned dates by Zoom. Otherwise, we will be face to face as follows:

All our venues have B&B nearby for anyone wishing to stay overnight, in Wakefield the York House venue itself offers rooms and there are other hotels nearby.

Wakefield - We will provisionally be meeting at the York House Hotel - this is about 2 minutes walk from Wakefield Westgate railway station and close to plenty of city-centre parking, The hotel has a limited number of spaces on site which can be paid for on arrival at reception, otherwise the nearest option - about 1 minutes walk - is Smyth St (WF1 1EP) which is £4.50 all day (checked May 2021). You may find other alternatives here
Wakefield itself is conveniently sited close to the M62, M1 and A1 which makes it accessible from almost any area of Northern England or the Midlands. Most of our students travel from Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Manchester, Pontefract, Castleford, Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Lincoln, although some have come from further afield including Scotland and Staffordshire.

York - We will be at Millthorpe School in York, which is a bit less than a mile on foot from the train station, and only half a mile from a park and ride stop. There is free parking on-site.
York is well placed for those living in the North Yorkshire area and further afield; Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby and the East Coast etc. It's also easily accessible via the A1M from the North East of England; Newcastle, Durham, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, and Darlington.

Mid-Week training - the venue varies depending on which day of the week we decide to meet. Please ask for more information if this is important to you.
