| Supervision for Hypnotherapists |

It is a requirement of most professional therapy associations, including those that accredit our course, that new therapists undertake supervision. For example, hypnotherapists registered with the G.H.R. are required to engage in this beneficial process for a minimum of 2 hours in any 3 month period during their first 2 years of practice after qualification. They are encouraged to continue this practice after that time. Our tutor Debbie is listed by the G.H.R. as a supervisor and by the BIH as a supportive net-worker. At present there are no vacancies for regular one to one supervision but there is a group supervision option. This will be held on Saturday mornings in Debbie's clinic in Normanton on a quarterly basis. Numbers are very limited, so please contact Debbie if you are interested in coming along. We also recommend the Wakefield Peer Group meetings and would be happy to pass on details if you are interested. They meet on the last Monday evening of every month. |
